Ivana Nohel Royal Collection Scarves

Ivana Nohel is a  London based (Czech/Canadian) multi-media artist, product designer and illustrator … and a scarfaholic.

After moving to London in 1984, Ivana designed garments for a variety of luxury fashion labels and in the costume department of BBCTV. In the early 90’s Ivana switched career to become a product designer at Hasbro Toys UK, designing part of the Sindy Fashion Doll range for 5 years. Ivana then became a Creative Director for Copyright Promotions Licencing Group where she oversaw the development of style guides and merchandise for entertainment brands such as Lucasfilm, Mr Men and Sony Pictures. In 1999, Ivana was headhunted to work for a newly formed toy development team in Hammersmith for The Walt Disney Company. Ivana’s specialty was The Disney Princess Range but she later headed up the entire team of designers and product managers, overseeing the entire toy portfolio for Disney Consumer Products.

In 2007 Ivana went freelance, selling her various talents in branding, graphic design, illustration and product development, set design and visual merchandising and working mainly in the luxury sector.

Ivana’s fascination in the history of fashion and film, as well as wanting a canvas for her illustration, has led her to creating her own line of scarves.  Each of Ivana’s scarves has a theme and you will see the influence of 20th century film and culture running through her work. Ivana’s is the thinking woman’s scarf: her scarves are imbued with stories that will weave through, blend and enhance your own.

Prints of Ivana’s illustrations will be available to purchase via this website this August.
